WeZouk & COVID-19
WeZouk under the COVID-19 Protection (“traffic light”) Framework
The COVID-19 Protection Framework - also known as the “traffic light” framework - replaces the current alert level system with green, orange, and red “traffic lights”, each with different sets of restrictions.
In order to continue running our classes and events under the new framework, we therefore need to require all attendees to be double vaccinated. Our only other option would be to close.
Hence, although we do not like having to exclude people from attending our classes or events, our priority is to keep our classes and events running and our students and staff safe. We will therefore continue to offer classes and events, but require all attendees to be double vaccinated from December 3rd 2021 on. This includes the members of our team involved in teaching classes or running events.
So what does this mean for our students?
From December 3rd 2021 onwards, only those who are double vaccinated will be allowed entry to our classes, socials, and other events.
Students who wish to attend our classes or events will need to possess a valid vaccine pass - i.e., the government-issued ‘My Vaccine Pass’. Please be aware that, under the new framework, we cannot accept other forms of evidence for double vaccination.
Students must be prepared to present their vaccine pass for verification by teachers or organisers at all classes, practicas, and socials. If they are unable to produce these or their pass cannot be verified, they will not be permitted entry to that event.
Those who are partially vaccinated (i.e., have received their first dose) will need to wait until they have received both doses and been issued with a vaccine pass before they can attend.
Under all traffic light levels, mask wearing is required for entry into and exit from Full Swing studios. However, once students are in the studio where their class is held, mask wearing is optional. Our instructors are subject to these same regulations.
Please be aware that these regulations may need to be updated during class terms in response to changes in restrictions put in place by the government.
