Weekend of Zouk with Otavio & Sara!

We were so excited to have Otavio & Sara join us all the way from São Paulo, Brazil to share their passion for dance with us over the course of the weekend.
Otavio and Sara have been teaching classes locally and at congresses within Brazil and internationally since 2022 and are members of Geração 3D Dance Company which introduces a new generation of Zouk and Lambazouk professionals around the world.

Windy Zouk Weekender 2022

In 2022, WeZouk collaborated with fellow Wellington dance school Karioka Dance, to bring Wellington the Windy Zouk Weekender! The weekend event included a range of Zouk-focused workshops delivered by teachers from around the Wellington region, including Jezuz & Louise, Adam & Gabrielle, Hannah & Yohan, Callum & Nicola, Elizabeth Ashby, Leona Wolpert, and Pamela Booth.

WeGathering Weekend 2021

For this year’s WeGathering Weekend we were lucky to have special guests Jezuz & Louise from Invercargill. We also had many fantastic new workshops provided by our very own Zouk teaching couples - Adam & Leona, Callum & Nicola, Hannah & Yohan - as well as special ‘Zouk Fusion’ and ‘Zouk Conditioning’ workshops.

WeGathering Weekend 2020

This marked the very first of our WeGathering Weekends: two days of focused workshops from our very own local teachers, as well as parties, practice sessions, and a whole lot of fun!
